Chocolate Mousse

Looking for the perfect snack? Enjoy this vegan chocolate mousse. This easy-to-make dessert combines whipped coconut milk, dark chocolate and a touch of maple syrup for a perfect treat.🥰
Ingredients (for 2 persons)
- 150 grams FOODIES-PLANET® 72% Dark Chocolate
- 600 ml coconut milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- Grated zest of 3/4 orange
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Let's get started!
- Chop the chocolate and melt it au bain-marie or in the microwave.
- Scoop out the solid part of the chilled coconut milk from 300 ml and put it in a bowl.
- Whisk this with an electric mixer until it's fluffy.
- Add the melted chocolate, maple sytup and vanilla extract. Continue whisking until everything is well blended and fluffy.
- Stir the grated zest of 3/4 orange into the mixture for a fresh, citrusy flavor.
- Divide the mousse among serving glasses and let is set in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Carefully open the chilled can of coconut milk and scoop out the thick coconut cream on top.
- Plac the coconut cream in a bowl and add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
- Beat with an electric mixer until the coconut cream is fluffy and creamy.
- After the chocolate mousse has been in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours and has risen, spread the whipped coconut cream.
- Leave this in the fridge for another hour and you have a delicious dish!
